Zürich - my love

A little city guide of our beautiful little big city ZÜRICH has been requested.
Your wish is my command! So here we go:

On a sunny day, Zurich is absolutely unbeatable...With the picturesque lake, the great variety of cultural offerings, the nearby mountains, the unbelievable nature, some really good restaurants and a good shopping selection, life in Zurich is top of the pop!

Many events, like the Zurich Film Festival or several Superstar concerts as "The Rolling Stones", "U2", "Coldplay" etc.  throughout the year, give this town the much needed international flair.

The perfect day for me would include the following:
Brunch at Restaurant Terrasse, Manicure and Pedicure at Schminkbar, Lunch at Restaurant Kaufleuten, some Shopping in Zurichs City Center, Drinks at Milchbar or Atelier Bar and then some Dinner at Restaurant Bärengasse for some nice meat or Restaurant Taos for some Euro-Asian Food.

Here some of my favorite Restaurants:

If you would like to buy some beautiful artsy pictures of Zurich, a friend of mine, Rolf Müllestein, has a great shop with fabulous pictures he has taken himself!
Check out his page: http://www.zuerichfoto.ch.
He also sells little calendars, postcards etc. a great gift idea, not only for tourist, but also for Zurich people who love their city!

There is so much more Zurich has to offer...
Please let me know, if you are interested in something in particular!
I must admit, my knowledge of the trendiest bars and nightclubs is at the moment a bit lacking... but I sure will find out what is hip right now! ;-)
