Happy first October...

Yesterday we had a lovely afternoon at one of the nicest spots in the area...
Despite the huge amount of rain that fell in the morning, we went to the Jucker Farm and we were rewarded with sunshine and only few visitors for a wednesday afternoon...

I love the autumn theme there.. pumpkins everywhere... stunning light and and the view on the lake is simply breathtaking.

The entertainment range for the kids is really great, from pumpkin-carving to apple juice-squeezing, from playing with goats to jumping on the bales of straw, from picking fruits to chilling in the hammock... there is something for every taste!

And there are fresh fruits, vegetables, breads and meats available at the little farmers market, which makes it also for the adults enjoyable, as you don't need to go the extra mile afterwards to go grocery-shopping.

Since we last week had a vote going on in favor or not of the Jucker farm, and unfortunately it turned out that the people decided against this awesome place we really need to relish this place the way it is as long as we can....

With or without kids, this venue is really worth a visit!

xx Linda
